Little late, I know, but incase you have not yet realize, that neat little browser by the Mozilla Foundation has been updated to version 1.0.2. This update is primarily a security update. Be expecting 1.1 to be out sometime this month or next (seeing as its almost the end of the month, I’ll assume the latter).

I am just reading through this site that basically states in the 1920s-1950s, Soviet Russia had plans to basically rebuild Moscow to be “the showpiece capital of the world’s first socialist state”. So basically they wanted to bulldoze Moscow as it was then known, and rebuild it as a huge Soviet Utopia. It would have been interesting to see what the world would have been like if these plans had actually taken place. In my head, I see something from The Never Ending Story, but more military driven. Anyways, I am way too tired to think harder. Read and post thoughts!

For some reason, lately whenever I hear the word linux, I can be sure that within the next 5 minutes (assuming the conversation lasts that long) the word Knoppix will follow. Well, it looks like the folks over there have just released a new version of the live Linux distribution, Knoppix 3.8. As always, its completely free and being distributed by your favourite P2P app known as BitTorrent…
